Energy on the Run juice

Apparently people on this alkaline diet like to juice a lot, so when in Rome... (blehhhh)

One day- I will love this, right?!?


Energy on the Run juice

  • 1 small wedge of cabbage (about 4 oz.)
  • 2 medium stalks celery
  • 1 medium carrot
  • ½ large beet
  • ½ large red pepper
  • ½ lemon, peel and white pith removed

Process all vegetables and citrus fruit through your juice extractor into a juice pitcher. Stir well to blend the flavors. Pour into short cocktail glasses.

To serve, garnish with a small celery stalk.

Makes about 1¾ cups (2 to 3 servings).
